The Morning Will Come Soon

A little scene I've wanted to draw for awhile and was finally pushed to by this song.

This is from Dallas's past, the last winter he spent in Kanto before moving to the city. Magmar are actually rather cold-sensitive pokemon, so being homeless around that time really isn't ideal... but he was, and he came down sick and had to tough it out alone.

Dallas has gotten something of a self-reliant attitude from this incident and most of what had occurred prior, and as such he doesn't really like receiving help from anyone, even his friends. He'd sooner solve his problems on his own if he can... which usually means making them worse.
